Kyle’s Journey

Kyle grew up with a passion for leadership, influence and relationships. His goal has been to live a life of leadership and influence. Growing up, his aim was to climb the corporate ladder. He wanted to start at the bottom and climb to the top so he would understand the industry (whatever that may be) from every aspect possible. This would enhance both his leadership and influential capabilities. He skipped college to get an early start. It was going well and he was beginning to see the success he had dreamed about.

Several years into his career, he got married. A little over a year after getting married, Kyle and Lizzy had their first child, Hudson. It wasn’t long before Kyle realized he was missing out on what he loved the most: time with Lizzy, and time with Hudson. ‘Corporate America’ was taking a toll on his family. He was gone from dark to dark, missing most meals and some weekends with them. He knew something had to change, and committed to not look back on the early years of his family's life with regret.

Kyle decided to try his hand in sales. For the first time in his life, he considered that maybe entrepreneurship would be his path forward. During the transition into Life Insurance sales, he came across “Becoming Your Own Banker” (BYOB) by R. Nelson Nash which explains the Infinite Banking Concept and the power of having control over one’s own capital. He didn’t know it yet, but this book would shape his future. Intrigued, he attended a seminar conducted by Ryan Griggs, designated by the Nelson Nash Institute as an Authorized IBC Practitioner. Ryan brought Nelson’s “BYOB” book to life. Kyle then read the book twice and attended another of Ryan’s seminars. He went from intrigued to hooked.

Ryan and Kyle spent several hours together after the second seminar and Kyle offered his services to Ryan strictly to help him with software and organizational tools. A few days later, Ryan extended an offer to Kyle to study underneath him as a mentee in the hopes that one day in the not too distant future he and Kyle could start a podcast together and honor the late Nelson Nash in carrying the baton and spreading the Infinite Banking Concept to as many people as possible.

As noted above, Kyle has a passion for leadership and influence. As a child, he wrote out his passion, laminated it, and carried it with him. He’s proud that he never lost the original copy, or the vision.

Having a big heart for helping people achieve their potential, Kyle encourages people to take responsibility and ownership for every aspect of their lives. Nelson Nash’s IBC is the path that individuals can take to regain ownership in their financial lives. As Austrian Economist Ludwig von Mises put it, “Economics deals with society’s fundamental problems; it concerns everyone and belongs to all.”

Kyle, Lizzy, Hudson, Maisie and Sawyer Reese - 2021

His family and Christian faith are his priorities. If he’s not working or studying, chances are high that he’s hanging out with his wife, playing with his kiddos, or volunteering time at his church. He regularly thanks the Lord for the time he has with his family once again. He recognizes this time is to be cherished because it’s not going to last forever.

Kyle and Lizzy married in the summer of 2017. Their son Hudson was born in the fall of 2018 and their daughters Maisie and Sawyer were born in 2020 and 2021. They’re stewarding their children on the Lord’s behalf so that they can change their own worlds. They love people, and extend you their best wishes.
